🏋️️ Exercise for the Week: 🏋️️: The “Release & Renew” Practice
This simple exercise can be implemented every morning or evening
to help you let go of what no longer serves you and create space for new growth.
Step 1: Find a Quiet Moment
Carve out 5-10 minutes each day, either in the morning before your day begins or at night before you wind down. Find a quiet space where you can be present with your thoughts.
Step 2: Breathe and Center Yourself
Take 3 deep breaths, inhaling through your nose, holding for a second, and exhaling slowly through your mouth. As you do, let your body relax and your mind calm.
Step 3: Reflect on What You Need to Release
Think about one thing in your life that is weighing you down—whether it’s a negative belief, a fear, or an attachment to the past. Visualize it as a heavy object you’ve been carrying around. Now, mentally “let it go” and picture it floating away, out of your mind and heart.
Step 4: Invite New Energy
As the old weight is gone, visualize space opening up in your life. Ask yourself: What would I like to welcome in today? Perhaps it’s clarity, confidence, or new opportunities. See these qualities flowing into you, filling the space you’ve just cleared.
Step 5: Write it Down
Finish by journaling about what you’ve let go of and what you’ve invited in. Writing it down reinforces the shift and helps you track your progress.
